A 500 level Material and Metallurgical Engineering student of the Federal University of Technology Owerri knowm as Kester Gabriel was reported to have drowned while swimming with three other un-identified friends.

Report brought to the FOX NAIJA NEWS Desk stated that kester had returned to school, three days back for unknown reasons and was said to have on the 21 goneto the famous Otamiri river for a swim with three other friends where they met the ill-fated incident.
The three other un-identified students of the University was reported to have survived the death fate as a result of early rescue, but before the rescue team could reach Kester he had passed.
Kester was Reported to have been buried at the spot of death as a result of traditions/customs, which state that "Anyone, irrespective of place of origin ho dies at sea/river shall be buried on the banks of the river".

The Deceased is said to have supposed to be at his Industrial Training, but had decided to resume earlier than supposed.
Ofcourse the incident was as a poor result of Edication management in the country which led to the idleness of the deceased.
